The Cathedral of Christ the King has been a fixture in the Atlanta, Georgia community for more than six decades, and today the Cathedral is one of the ten largest Cathedral parishes in the country. The 1930s Church building itself is a French Gothic architectural style; Indiana limestone, Stone Mountain granite and Georgia marble were used in the construction of the church and school buildings. Architectural Record chose the Cathedral as the "most beautiful building in Atlanta".
Eight years ago SBCH provided campus master planning services and implemented a major addition to the Cathedral with an expansion and renovation of the School. SBCH has recently provided highly detailed furniture and altar renovations in the main sanctuary and is currently engaged to provide Master Planning services for future expansion possibilities.
