Baker Donelson Bearman Caldwell & Berkow is a well-established law firm, serving the city of Atlanta since 1963. In 2003 they decided to move their office from downtown, north to the Buckhead area.
Taking the top floor of a "Class A" office building in the heart of the Lenox area business district, the firm was able to take full advantage of views of the city to the south and treescape to the north by wrapping the lawyer's offices and conference rooms around the perimeter of the space.
The interior features a skylite reception area with stone floors and custom stained wood trim throughout. The high end finishes continue into the main conference room located beyond a wood paneled and glass wall to provide an elegant environment for client interaction. The library also uses these stained wood trim details to capture a classic and rich law library feeling. Along the main corridors each lawyer's assistant's office features a curved custom millwork front which serves to create an attractive office enclosure while allowing required visual communication with their assigned lawyer. Each lawyer was allowed to choose the level of custom finish within his or her office to suit their individual needs and taste.
