Our clients wanted a modern space, capturing the aesthetic of loft living. It would also be comfortable and suitable for entertaining. The finishes needed to be cat friendly.

The foyer features a Venetian plaster wall. Stained concrete floors anchor the space. Area rugs soften the gathering spaces and bedrooms. Due to the hard surfaces in the living area and 2-story glass wall, an acoustic ceiling was installed. Anigre wood veneer was selected for custom kitchen cabinets, which conceal a pantry. The counters are Alaskan white granite.

The loft has custom millwork in the bedroom and office. The office overlooks the city, while pockets in the bedroom conceal motorized drapery for privacy. A bathroom and dressing area are tucked behind built-in storage. The custom stainless steel railing leads to the loft.

The living room features a 12' storage unit, which conceals a sound system. Motorized shades control light and heat without obstructing the penthouse views. The dining area features an Italian hand-blown glass chandelier. Soft fabrics and distressed leather were selected to survive frisky cats.

Scope of Work

Evaluated the base plans to combine two units. Modified the layout, adding lofted floor space. Plan included a master bedroom with bath, a guest bedroom, half bath, a loft bedroom/office with bath and closet, additional office and living area.

Team designed custom millwork found throughout the home. They selected all finishes, specified and purchased all furnishings, including custom pieces.
